Echometrics uses high-accuracy 3D laser scans to create precise panel profiles, fabrication drawings, and installation documents—ensuring perfect fit, zero rework, and faster installations.
Our team uses state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning to capture every detail with millimeter accuracy. From this data, we create precise digital panel models, fabrication drawings, and installation documents that ensure a perfect fit on-site. By aligning each model with verified as-built conditions, we help fabricators and installers eliminate rework and achieve flawless results the first time.

How It Works
Our process begins with a high-precision 3D laser scan of the existing structure, capturing millions of points to create an exact digital representation of the substrate. We then analyze subsystems, walls, and adjacent system boundaries for vertical and horizontal alignment, identifying any significant deviations. These findings are compiled into deviation reports, which can be used to communicate any necessary adjustments to the builder.
Next, we take the panel shop drawings and, respecting the design intent, align each panel to the existing structure in 3D. This includes fine adjustments—such as repositioning panel reveals to match mullions or other critical architectural elements—ensuring a perfect fit. Using our in-house automated software, we then generate precise 2D panel profiles, which are delivered in standard CAD format.
Panel profiles are then used directly for CNC fabrication, producing panels that fit the building exactly as designed—reducing errors, eliminating rework, and streamlining installation.
