Birchmount Green apartment complex is a multi-story residential development featuring a modern façade with multi-colored ACM cladding that wraps several elevations, butting with existing curtain wall systems, precast panels, and individually placed punch windows.

Echometrics was contracted to perform a detailed 3D laser scan of the existing structure and produce precise as-built CAD drawings. These drawings captured key façade features—including the perimeters of punch windows, vertical and horizontal alignment of curtain wall and precast reveals, and critical corner transitions—providing a complete and accurate digital CAD reference for panel design. By leveraging Echometrics’ as-built CAD drawings and reports, the installer-fabricator was able to efficiently model and draft panels directly onto the verified structure, enabling flawless fabrication, on-schedule installation, and zero rework.
